Northern Star 57ft - SOLD

Lying at Farncombe Boat House in Godalming on the River Wey, and available with a non-residential mooring.

Four berth narrow boat built by John White boat builders in 1997 and fitted out my Triton fitters. Northern Star has undergone an entire shower room/WC refit, kitchen refurbishment and some other space saving and enhancement modification in May 2005 carried out by Farncombe Boat House.

Lonbardini 4 cylinder diesel engine. Eberspacher diesel fired heating feeding four radiators spread through out the boat, and Morso Squirrel solid fuel fire in the lounge. 1500w inverter and 240v ring main.

Hull was re-blacked and new anodes fitted in March 2005. Safety certificated until April 2008.

Lounge

Free standing seating and butterfly dinning table and four folding chairs stored within offering flexible living space. Morso squirrel solid fuel stove with tiled hearth,. Free standing pine corner cupboard with 12/240v electric supply for television, DVD player and radio.

The water tank holds approximately 150 gallons and is located beneath to front deck. The water pump and further storage space for small items is located behind the moveable front steps which also provides storage.

Galley

The Galley has benefited from being refurbished in May 2005. This entailed stripping and re-vanishing the doors and new handles, new worktops, tiles, sink, four ring gas hob and a new large 12volt fridge.

The galley has a side hatch providing ventilation and light with a radiator below. There is ample storage, and it also benefits a an eye level oven with separate grill.

Bunk Cabin

Twin bunk room with full height wardrobe and ladder for the top bunk access.

Fixed Double Cabin

Comfortable fixed double bed with two deep drawers and one lift out panel storage compartment beneath. To optimise space, the hot water calorifier and toilet tank are discretely stored beneath on the far side of the bed, and access to both can be gained via lifting panels. A large wardrobe with yet more storage below is situated at the bottom of the bed. There is also a storage cupboard above the head of the bed with reading lights beneath.

Shower Room/WC

The shower room has been entirely refitted by Farncombe Boat House in May 2005. It had a new pump-out tank with china toilet, china sink and plastic shower tray. All fittings have been renewed and with the addition of a sliding door, this room is an ample size, and has good storage and space.

Engine Bay/Compartment

General

Lined curtains and porthole stops throughout were all renewed in May 2005 and are in excellent condition. It has 240v ring main allowing land line electricity throughout the boat ,as well as a 1500w inverter. This boat is in a beautiful condition and is being sold with TV, DVD, CD player and inventory; it is a very reluctant sale due to a change in circumstances.

This boat also has an existing non-residential mooring at Farncombe Boat House in Godalming.
