Narrow Boat Hire Prices 2010
SPECIAL OFFER - £125 off all short breaks and £200 off weekly holidays taken between 9th July and 30th August 2010. Available on all dates and all boats. Cannot be combined with any other offer.
Our prices are shown in £ sterling per boat and are fully inclusive of Cancellation Insurance and VAT where applicable at the current rate.
PLEASE NOTE: The prices quoted are cash / cheque prices only. Where you choose to pay by a credit card, a charge of 2% will be added to the total amount due.
REMEMBER - Your Farncombe Boat House Narrow Boat price includes free fuel. Many boat yards charge extra for fuel used and this can amount to £125 in a week! Also included are - free gas, free bed linen, free pets up to a maximum of 2 dogs per boat, free hairdryer and a free television. There is limited car parking near the Boat House, or off-site parking can be reserved in advance, free of charge.

EXTRA PERSONS - Where a craft can accommodate extra persons, the charges are as follows:
Children under 16 are free of charge when included as extra persons.
Persons aged 16 years and over - £40 per person per week or part week.
SHORT BREAKS are for 3 nights over the weekend, starting at 2pm Friday and returning by 9am Monday or 4 nights mid-week commencing at 2pm Monday and returning by 9am Friday, giving an extra day and night for the same price as a weekend. Our craft are licensed for cruising on the National Trust River Wey from Goldalming to Weybridge and return. This gives 20 miles of navigation to explore and 16 locks to negotiate - ample for a short break. If you take a longer holiday and want to cruise on the River Thames, then you will need to purchase an additional visitor's licence at the first lock. This can cost around £25 per day depending on the length of the craft and the time you want to spend on the River.

Once you have confirmed availability with us, you can download a booking form, print, sign and return.
To reserve your boat you must pay a booking deposit as follows:
Hire Charge up to £600 = £125 Deposit;
Hire Charge over £600 = £150 Deposit
The Balance of Hire
(plus a security damage waiver) is due 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.
Please note: A Security Damage Waiver Premium is payable on every hire and will show on your invoice. This is a single non-refundable payment, which covers you for any accidental damage or loss to the boat or it's equipment whilst on hire to you. The premiums are:
2/4 Berth Boat - £35
4/6 Berths - £40
6 Berths and over - £50
Alternatively, if you advise us in writing in advance, you may pay a Security Deposit which is refunded to you at the end of your holiday, after the craft has been checked and provided that you return the boat and it's equipment on time, undamaged, clean and without any third party claims against you.
These deposits are:
2/4 Berth Boat - £125
4/6 Berths - £150
6 Berths and over - £175
All-male or all all-female groups must pay a security deposit plus an extra deposit of £25 per head on arrival. Hirers must be 25 years or over (unless agreed by Farncombe Boat House when additional security deposits will be required).
