EXTRA PERSONS - Where a craft can accommodate extra persons, the charges are as follows:
Children under 16 are free of charge when included as extra persons.
Persons aged 16 years and over - £50 per person per week or part week.

FUEL DEPOSIT: A fuel deposit will be charged together with your balance of hire: £55 for short breaks and £90 per week. Fuel will be charged at current rates (measured on return of the boat) and any remaining fuel refunded or an extra charge made if you have exceeded this amount.

SHORT BREAKS are for 3 nights over the weekend, starting at 2pm Friday and returning by 9am Monday or 4 nights mid-week commencing at 2pm Monday and returning by 9am Friday, giving an extra day and night for the same price as a weekend. Our craft are licensed for cruising on the National Trust River Wey from Godalming to Weybridge and return. This gives 20 miles of navigation to explore and 16 locks to negotiate - ample for a short break. If you take a longer holiday and want to cruise on the River Thames, then you will need to purchase an additional visitor's licence at the first lock. This can cost around £25 per day depending on the length of the craft and the time you want to spend on the River.

Once you have confirmed availability with us, you can download a booking form, print, sign and return.

To reserve your boat you must pay a booking deposit as follows:
A Booking Deposit of £150 is payable for every hire if booking more than 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. The Balance of Hire (plus a security damage waiver) is due 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.

For Non-UK residents, the Booking Deposit is 1/3 (one third) of the hire fee with the balance due 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.

Please note: A Security Damage Waiver Premium of £50 is payable on every hire and will show on your invoice. This is a single non-refundable payment, which covers you for any accidental damage or loss to the boat or it's equipment whilst on hire to you.

Alternatively, if you advise us in writing in advance, you may pay a £175 Security Deposit which is refunded to you at the end of your holiday, after the craft has been checked and provided that you return the boat and it's equipment on time, undamaged, clean and without any third party claims against you. These deposits are:

All-male or all all-female groups must pay the £175 security deposit (not waiver option) plus an extra deposit of £25 per person cash on arrival. Hirers must be 25 years or over (unless agreed by Farncombe Boat House when additional security deposits will be required).
