Our Fleet for 2008
Our narrow boats are traditional in style, but easy to handle and
offer every home comfort.
The outside of each boat is painted in its own
individual livery and inside you will find a full inventory of cutlery,
crockery, pots and pans, a full sized cooker, refrigerator, hot water, a
bathroom with shower and gas heating.
A starter pack of washing up liquid,
cream cleaner, J cloth, floor cloth, matches, toilet roll, black sack and bin
liner will be on board for your arrival.
Bed linen is provided and a TV and
hairdryer are available free of charge, but need to be reserved at the time of
booking. You will need to bring your own towels and tea towels unless you are
travelling from overseas, in which case towels are provided.
We offer short
breaks from March to the end of October - weekends and midweeks - but you can
choose to take a boat for a week or longer allowing you cruise the River Thames
upstream to Windsor or down river to Hampton Court. You will need to purchase a
visitor's licence on entry to the Thames at the first lock you come to.

Our Narrow Boat Fleet
Goosander, Britannia and Grenadier have all the normal comforts but they are smaller and older craft and this is reflected in the price. Each craft has a ‘cool box’ type gas fridge, shower and heating. They are ideal if you want to try a boat for the first time and are on a limited budget. Perfect for short breaks.
Willow, Promise and Hawthorn offer more luxury and more space. 12volt electric refrigerators are standard as well as gas central heating. Ideal craft for those wanting a good quality boat for weekly charters as well as short breaks.

Goosander Description
40ft Cruiser Stern. Sleeps 2 - 4 using 1 double & 2 single berths. Popular well priced narrowboat, ideal for families or for those trying a boat for the first time. Accommodation comprises 1 make-up double in the saloon and 2 single berths in the rear cabin. Pets are welcome on board free of charge (up to a maximum of 2 dogs).

Britannia is a well-fitted narrow boat, ideal for a family or smaller group. Easy to handle. 4 single bunk berths in the rear cabin & 1 double settee berth in the main saloon. Pets are welcome on board free of charge (up to a maximum of 2 dogs).

Willow is an super boat for 2 couples as the 2 double berths are in 2 separate cabins and can be left up all the time. The rear berths can also be arranged as two singles for family use. Freestanding table and chairs in the saloon and two toilets make this a truely spacious 4 berth boat. Radiator heating. Pets are welcome on board free of charge (up to a maximum of 2 dogs).

A very flexible and spacious narrow boat incorporating 240v mains. All ‘home comforts’ are on board, including gas heating by radiators, full size electric fridge, and mains hair dryer. There is a fixed double bed in the centre cabin, while the other berths can be either used as singles or doubles. Pets are welcome on board free of charge (up to a maximum of 2 dogs).

Hawthorn
is a spacious boat with a semi-traditional stern. There are 4 single berths in two separate cabins and a double dinette berth in the saloon. 2 bathrooms, 1 with shower and 1 with sit bath/shower. The large front cockpit makes a pleasant seating area.
Pets are welcome on board free of charge (up to a maximum of 2 dogs).
