Our narrow boats are traditional in style, but easy to handle and offer every home comfort.

The outside of each boat is painted in its own individual livery and inside you will find a full inventory of cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, cooker, refrigerator, hot water, at least one bathroom with shower and heating.

A starter pack of washing up liquid, cream cleaner, J cloth, floor cloth, matches, toilet roll, black sack and bin liner will be on board for your arrival.

Bed linen is provided and a TV and hairdryer are available free of charge, but need to be reserved at the time of booking. You will need to bring your own towels and tea towels unless you are travelling from overseas, in which case towels are provided.

We offer short breaks from March to the end of October - weekends and midweeks - but you can choose to take a boat for a week or longer allowing you cruise the River Thames upstream to Windsor or down river to Hampton Court. You will need to purchase a visitor's licence on entry to the Thames at the first lock you come to.

Our Narrow Boat Fleet

Goosander has all the normal comforts but it is a smaller and older craft and this is reflected in the price. It has a ‘cool box’ type gas fridge, shower and heating. It is ideal if you want to try a boat for the first time and are on a limited budget. Perfect for short breaks.
The other boats in our fleet offer more luxury and more space. Electric refrigerators are standard as well as central heating by radiators. Ideal craft for those wanting a good quality boat for weekly charters as well as short breaks.

Goosander	Sleeps 2 to 4
Goosander Description and Internal Photos 40ft Cruiser Stern. Sleeps 2 - 4 using 1 double & 2 single berths. Popular well priced narrowboat, ideal for families or for those trying a boat for the first time. Accommodation comprises 1 make-up double in the saloon and 2 single berths in the rear cabin. Willow	Sleeps 4
Willow Description and Internal Photos 56ft Cruiser Stern. Sleeps 4 using 2 Doubles or 1 double & 2 singles in separate cabins. Willow is an super boat for 2 couples as the 2 double berths are in 2 separate cabins and can be left up all the time. The rear berths can also be arranged as two singles for family use. Freestanding table and chairs in the saloon and two toilets make this a truely spacious 4 berth boat. Radiator heating. Pets are welcome on board free of charge (up to a maximum of 2 dogs). Promise	Sleeps 4 to 6
Promise Description and Internal Photos 55ft. Cruiser stern. Sleeps 4 - 6 using 1 Double & 4 single berths or 3 doubles. A very flexible and spacious narrow boat incorporating 240v mains. All ‘home comforts’ are on board, including gas heating by radiators, full size electric fridge, and mains hair dryer. There is a fixed double bed in the centre cabin, while the other berths can be either used as singles or doubles. Pets are welcome on board free of charge (up to a maximum of 2 dogs). Alder	Sleeps 4 to 6
Alder Description and Internal Photos 57ft Cruiser stern narrowboat. Sleeps 4 - 6 using 2 doubles & 2 singles or 3 doubles The flexible sleeping arrangements make this a popular boat. Either 1 double or 2 single berths in the rear cabin, an optional dinette double in the saloon and a permanent double in the forward cabin. 2 bathrooms - one with shower. 240v inverter to power radio CD player and toaster. Firecrest	Sleeps 6
Firecrest Description and Internal Photos 69ft. Semi-tradional stern. Sleeps 6 using 2 Doubles & 2 singles in 3 cabins and saloon. Firecrest is a truly elegant narrow boat fitted with two fixed permanent double beds and two fixed single beds all with sprung mattresses for extra comfort and in 3 separate cabins. 2 Shower rooms. Snow Goose Description and Internal Photos 69ft. Semi-tradional stern. Sleeps 6- 8 either 4 doubles or 3 doubles and 2 singles or 2 doubles and 4 singles in 3 cabins and saloon. Snow Goose is a very comfortable narrow boat with a semi-traditional stern offering alternative layouts as shown above with sprung mattresses for extra comfort and in 4 separate cabins. 2 Shower rooms.
